Summer Breeze Makes Me Feel Fine

Summer truly is my favorite time of year. I love it much more than others, in my opinion. I would much rather it to be so hot I can barely move than below 70, that’s just me. This summer, thus far is one of my best.

I’m sitting here now, in the “summer breeze” on my front porch with my laptop and my wireless internet with a busted up finger (thanks to Fayo and his swarming defense for that one), with thoughts of going for a jog in my head, and I am so content. For the most part this is what I wanted my life to be like as I’m approaching 22. By no means am I “set” for the next year or even the next week, but it’s all within reach: 3 semisters left of college, starting to write “real” programs, the best set of friends a guy can get, porch furniture, and a towel (the most important thing someone can ask for).

Fame, Ain’t it a Bitch?

Jeff, if you didn’t know, is one of my best friends, we hang out at least 5 days a week and we have our own secret club. It doesn’t have a name but I will name it now……uuummm…”L.M^2”(L-M-Squared). See we end up driving around and listening to the radio and a horribly lame song will come on (as it always does) and we will both let it play for a few seconds then kind of look at each other with this “man this song is lame” look then begin to rock out, turn the volume up, and sing our hearts out. Yes, we have a sick, sad, perverted relationship with lame music and it loves us back. Oh yea, the club stands for “Lame Music Monthly”, I was thinking of making it “Lame Music Lovers” but I really wanted to use “squared” in the abbreviation of the club because that’s pretty cool.
