Motivation, Such an Aggravation
Interviewer: Welcome Scottie, it’s good to have you.
Scottie: Thanks a lot, great to be here. I’ve always been a fan.
Interviewer: And of us here the same of you. Let’s get right down to business, I’m sure you know why you are here.
Scottie: Actually, no I don’t.
Interviewer: Well you are the man, and we want to know what makes the man tick. We hear you’ve been playing a lot of basketball lately?
Scottie: Yeah, I really love the game.. I’ve been trin’ to get out everyday and shoot around a little. It helps to get me exercise and I’m workin’ on a nice suntan.
Interviewer: Well that’s good to hear. How is the Physics class coming?
Scottie: Well, it’s a summer course so I get discouraged a lot, but I only have the final left to take then I am done and heading to vacation on Friday.
Interviewer: Are you excited for that?
Scottie: Not really, I’m really focused on getting through my class, so maybe around noon tomorrow I will start to get excited. Now don’t confuse my focus with me actually doing work, I can’t seem to get enough motivation.
Interviewer: But I know you are playing basketball and have been working out when you’re not?
Scottie: Yeah, basketball I just love too much, no need for motivation. The other days, when I can’t ball I need to find motivation to exercise in other ways…
Interviewer: Such as……………?
Scottie: I’m not gonna get into my personal motivation, I’ll just say it involves pictures. No matter how hard I try I just can’t get motivated to do schoolwork.
Interviewer: Any idea why?
Scottie: Not sure, I just can’t get motivated to prove myself in school, specially not in classes that aren’t in my major. No need to prove that I’m the best.. I know it, hehe
Interviewer: Fair enough, anything else you got coming up that you want your public to know?
Scottie: Well, I hope to be working on making a video game sometime this summer, maybe a few other projects.. oh, and I’m also going to be taking the second part of physics during July along with doing work on my house. Thanks for having me.
